Privacy Policy

VALUES does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on our servers. We operate no servers. We cannot see anything you write in the app.

What the app stores

The sentences you write, their significance ratings, your completed-session history, and your settings (theme, text size, session length) are stored on your device.

iCloud sync

If you are signed in to iCloud, this content also syncs through Apple's CloudKit to your private iCloud database. That database belongs to your Apple Account. The developer has no access to it and cannot read, export, or recover its contents. No public or shared CloudKit database is used.

If you are not signed in to iCloud, everything stays on your device only.

iCloud is a service provided by Apple and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

What we do not do

• No analytics, telemetry, or crash reporting
• No advertising and no ad identifiers
• No tracking, and no data shared with third parties
• No accounts, sign-ups, email collection, or contact access
• No third-party SDKs of any kind

Purchases

Premium themes are one-time purchases handled entirely by Apple's App Store. Payment details never reach the app or the developer. The app asks Apple only whether a given theme has been purchased, and stores that yes/no answer on your device.

Deleting your data

Deleting a value in the app keeps it recoverable for 7 days, then removes it permanently. Deleting the app removes all local data. To remove synced data, delete the app's data from iCloud in Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage Account Storage.

Children

VALUES is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted on this page with a new date.
